NIPT- cost???

Hi ladies,
I've been trying to find out how much NIPT  (VisibiliT, specifically) cost. Has anyone with Medicaid taken it and if so, what was the out of pocket cost? Or just any ballpark cost, regardless of insurance type. I tried calling twice and gave all my info, they said they'd get back to me with a quote but I haven't heard anything yet. Thanks so much!

I finally spoke with someone from accounting, they were able to reach Medicaid and get a quote. It's 100% covered by my MediCal so I'm scheduled to have it done on 9/1 when I'm already having my 11 wk appointment.

Is this the genetic testing that also tells you the gender?

I have to be preapproved for a nipt (different company) so my dr has to say why I'm a candidate for it and my insurance can approve or deny it. If they deny it even though my dr says I need it I'll pay $350

I called my insurance company and they cover it if I meet certain criteria. I heard they you can opt for self pay and it's about $200 OOP.
