Early scan and wrong dates?

Question

Anyone had an early scan and was given a date but then had a 12week or later scan and they was further or less than what they were?
I had a scan and they said I was 7 weeks, I'm 10weeks today but I feel like I'm further along than 10week. I have a 12week scan booked in a couple of week could they have got my dates wrong at 7weeks?

The earlier scans are more accurate. After 12 weeks babies start growing at different rates and may be a week or more smaller or larger in growth. , but due date typically remains what the first early scan or lmp showed.

With my daughter i had ovulation tracking before conception scan of actual ovulation had occurred at my 6week scan i was7 weeks  plus 1 which made my due date 23 may 16 the nurse at the hospital for my 12week appt screwed my dates up royaly and could not figure it out on a 31 day cycle not 30 day cycle and changed my date to 27th may 16 i was scheduled for a c section after my original due date which pissed me off so the day before i had my daughter i told the dr im not going to last till there schedule date and said see you tomorrow this was the 19th may 16 i had my daughter via emergency c section on the 20th may 16 like i said i would some times even though you tell them that they are wrong they still dont believe you till your in there in labour being she was my 3rd baby delivered 2nd live baby they still brushed me off.

They can only base it on the first day of your last menstrual cycle
