Young Marriage

I'm just here to vent honestly because I'm 18 and tired of hearing the same things over and over again.

Yes I am 18, and yes I am engaged. You would think my family would be happy for me seeing that I'm the first to get married since my aunt was very young. Well if you thought that , you'd be wrong.

Time and time again people ask me, "Why do you want t get married this young?" They also say that marriage is so hard. But do you know what I say?

Marriage is supposed to be hard. We don't value things that come easy. The more time and commitment you put into a relationship, the more you value is and your significant other. I say that when you get married it isn't supposed to be all flowery fields and happiness all the time. But what you do have is each other , and when you value your significant other the love you have is stronger than anyone could ever break apart.

So yes , I'm 18 and I'm truly in love with the young man I met when I was 12. I'm 18 and I will marry this man regardless of what anyone else has to say about it.
