Fever?

My daughter turns 11 months next Friday and has a lot of teeth already. She woke up around midnight and slept on and off but was fussy (she's usually a very chill baby and sleeps through the night). Around 5 am we checked her temperature and it was 99.8 so we gave her Motrin. My mom checked it again today at noon and it was still 99.8 and gave her another dosage. Other than that, she doesn't have any other symptoms and is behaving like she usually does.

My friend said she could be going through a growth spurt or she could be teething.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I was sick this week though with a cold and still am but slept on the couch all week to avoid getting her sick except for Thursday morning where we slept together for a bit. Like I have said, she hasn't shown any other symptoms so far and I'm crossing my fingers that I didn't pass my cold onto her.
