When I get pregnant I wanna keep it a secret

I don't wanna tell anyone until it's safe is that wrong of me... We are ttc baby #1 for both hubby and me I'm just scared of the thought of getting pregnant and then losing the baby and have to explain it to everyone..

The first time my husband and I got pregnant we told a lot of people and it ended in miscarriage. I then got pregnant again 4 months later and kept it a secret from everyone but our parents and very close friends. We didn't tell anyone else until I was 16 weeks, we now have a healthy happy little girl who will be one in exactly a week! I will never tell people, except for important close family, that I am pregnant again until I am at least 12-16 weeks. Its a personal choice. I paid the ultimate price by getting overly excited about it...its very hard to explain to people that you've had a miscarriage.

I'm 7 weeks and my family and close friends know! Sadly I work in an environment that is dangerous to baby if I'm not careful so all of work are also aware. I wish I didn't have to tell them but I would at her risk telling them I miscarried and know I did all I could to make it safe for baby rather than keep it a secret and harm my baby. When I get pregnant again I do plan to keep it a secret till I know its safe. I had a chemical in feb the moment I had a few positive hpts I told everyone I was so happy. Me n my bf a week later had to tell everyone we lost the baby. So its a secret if it happens again.

I know how you feel! There are a couple of friends of mine that spilled the beans too soon and those pregnancies ended in miscarriage.. It's very heartbreaking and I believe that is something very personal that only you and a very select few should know until you know it's safe to say.. Even then you never know. Pregnancy is a delicate thing 😌

I told people immediately with my second pregnancy. It ended in miscarriage and telling everyone was terrible. It kept bringing it up and lead to some extremely insensitive comments that made me feel even worse. My third pregnancy I told nobody besides my mom and husband... It ended in miscarriage as well I was so glad I didn't tell anyone and have to deal with the questions and unwanted "advice" and comments.

I was the same. I didn't tell my family and friends until after 13 weeks. I'm 15 weeks and still haven't told work. I'll tell them around 18 weeks. It's such an exciting but anxious time ... I keep getting sharp cramps and my mind automatically thinks the worse. My OB said that its growing pains and all is fine. Scary when your body is going through pregnancy for the first time and you don't know exactly what pains are normal.
