Do I Have Herpes?

Me & this guy had sex three times and the third time it was my first time giving him oral. When I had sex with him I was already sick and had a sore throat. I checked to see what my throat was looking like & it was one white spot. i started tripping but i was like it should go away i got a sore throat. Days kept going by & more kept coming. So today i went to the doctor he didn't test me or anything he looked at my throat told me i had swollen glands and said it's either Mono or Strep throat and give me medicine for the strep. I took it today , my throat isn't hurting anymore as a sore throat. but now my mouth is dry & all of sudden i see a red dot my cheek. Like what is going on google is scarying me. like has anyone had this problems before? HELP
