Acne Treatment?

I'm breaking out so bad and I'm dying to know what I can use? I know to stay away from salicylic  acid but what about benzoyl peroxide? I have my first doctors appointment next week and I'll double check with her but I need help now! Anyone have any suggestions???

Hmm if you're worried about standard face wash and acne creams (which I believe are fine as long as it's not prescription strength) you could try witch hazel or tiny amounts of diluted tea tree oil.

There hasn't been enough studies done to really know.. but what the studies do say is that anything otc you can buy should be OK as not a high amount gets absorbed into the skin. What you should stay away from is prescription strength medication, especially oral acne medicine.

My understanding is that facewash from any store is fine. Most has only 2% or less.
