Do you take prenatal vitamins while TTC?

I saw my doctor this morning for a full health check up since we're in our first month of TTC our first and since coming off my bc pill my body has gone a bit crazy!
She asked if I was taking a prenatal for the folic acid. I said not yet. She was like no! This is a must! Stop at the chemist on the way home! So I did, just curious if everyone else takes one daily? (She highly recommended Elevit) 
Also booked in for a blood test to make sure all my levels are okay :)

This is the one I'm taking. I've read time and time again you should take one even when ttc...but also I just need to take a vitamin anyway. Plus they make your hair look better and your nails grow and strengthen!

I've been taking prenatal vitamins/folic acid for a few months now and this is our first month TTC. Remember not to take any other medication or pills except Tylenol plain (while ttc and after!)

Yes I took them as soon as I came off the pill to start trying. Folic acid is important for early development of the baby, even before you know you're pregnant :)
