Mother in law problems

My mother in law lives 10 minutes away and never comes to see her grandson. The last time she came was Father's Day because we invited them. I have told her time and time again come by anytime, come use the pool. She and I never had an issue while my husband and I dated, it became a problem when we got married. She never thought her baby would leave the house and get married. But in all, now she has a grandson that she makes no effort to see and I am tired of reaching out. It's a two way street. I just can't imagine letting months go by without seeing my grandchild. Makes me sick. How could she deny this cuteness? She doesn't know he's walking and saying words because she never asks!!
