Has anyone had an internal scan?

Due to get an internal scan tomorrow because of bleeding/spotting over the weekend.
 I was just wondering if anyone has had this before and what the results were for you

this is my 4th pregnancy and i've had 3-4 bleeding episodes only with this one. In my case, my doctor evaluated me every time and has determined my bleeding to be the cause of a ruptured blood vessel. Your placenta has hundreds and are easily ruptured. Always always always make sure you notify your doctor and never assume!

Yep. Had severe bleeding at one point in my pregnancy for 10 days and then it was light pink DAILY for a full month.. got checked internally and it was a polyp. 
I gave birth recently and all went well.
