Mucinex?

I read that taking mucinex during your fertile window thins your CM and helps facilitate sperm  travel. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Which mucinex is the one to use (they have a ton) and what dose?

Also do you start it the day of your fertile window?

I also heard that drinking more water thins out your cm as well.

I heard robotissin does the same thing. Just picked up prenatal vitiams to see if it works first

Guaifenesin is the name of the medication and it is an expectorant. This means that it loosens mucous and congestion in your chest and allows you to couch it out. Guaifenesin is supposed to be used for congestion and not conceiving. It's in the pregnancy category c which means they haven't ruled out if its harmful before conception and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Regular Mucinex, in the blue box.  I take it the five or six days leading up to ovulation.  I don't know how it does what it does,  but it definitely increased my cm.

I heard this too, and I'm wishing I did it before my last IUI, like I planned on.  You only really need the active ingredient  Guafficin (sp?). I bought the 88 cent one called Mucus relief that Walmart has.
