He is now 10 months old. Haven't been on here in a while but I'd like to share. So here it goes.

My friend brought me into my doc because I was having "Braxton hicks". They checked me and said I was 80% Enfaced and 2cm dilated. Watched me for an hr. The hicks went away and I was sent home.

My S.O and I put at the time barely turned 1 yr old daughter to bed at 8:30. I came back down stairs and felt a little cramping. I though I just had to poop because I take iron pills that make me uncomfortable. They didn't go away. So I timed them 20 min apart. Then it stopped right before we went to bed. At 2:00 I wake up with tolerable but still painful contractions. Go to the bathroom and my mucas plug comes out. I'm waiting it out, because I don't want to be sent back home. 2:30am. I'm crying in pain. Called my mom. Who just got home from a trip ask her to come get my daughter. She lives 10 min. By the time she gets here I'm walking three steps and contraction. Get to the hospital there is a line at the er. I had to just check in to go up. As I was about to walk in a lady said she was here first and stormed in front of me. Like excuse me baby coming. Another lady saw me breathing and ask if I was in labor. My So just parked the car and was asking if I needed to sit. And she asked again and he said yes. So this lady. Opened the door to the office and said. She's in labor you need to check her in now. I walked to the delivery room.

Here's the catch. I had horrible pain and We know when we need to push, especially with our second kids. The nurse kept telling me I didn't need to. And the epidural guy came as I was saying I need to push. Thank god for my obgyn he checked me and said yup she's ready to go and yelled at the nurse for ever telling a mom she doesn't need to push. Doctor turned around just in time to catch my son. Born at 5:23 am. 6 pounds 8 ounces 19 inches long. Now at 10 months 21 pounds 28 inches long
