In extreme pain

I am in extreme back pain and it causing cramping. The pain is so bad all I can do is cry. I can barely move. I saw the doctor today and baby fine. Have a another appointment on Wednesday but I am so much pain I can't do anything. Its hard. This level of pain can't be just a Pregenecy thing. Can it?it just doesn't feel right
