Wish Me Luck!!!
So, I'm 20, and I've been overweight my whole life. I've tried diets before, exercise, the whole shebang. They never worked, mostly because I gave up almost before I started. I'm 5'6, 262lbs, and so very, very done. I don't want to get diabetes, which is a legitimate concern, several people in my family have had it, and I don't want to have to take medication my whole life, thank you very much.
Recently, I've gone on the Atkins diet, which my father says is one of two scientifically proven to work diets, and honestly, it works. I was 265 last week. I have more energy, more motivation, I feel less tired, this thing is actually working! I might actually be able to do this!
