Is not being ready for sex bad?

I'm 23, still a virgin, and not in a rush to have sex. But I've never been in a relationship before. If I do get into one, what if the other person is ready and I'm still not? What if I'm just never ready? Does this mean I'm doomed for all future relationships before I even start?

If a guy (or anyone) comes around and criticizes you for not being ready, or tries to force you into it when you're still not ready, punch him in the face. Hard.

Nope. You're fine. I'm 19, almost 20, and way too focused on God, my money, and my makeup to have some dude stressin' me. You should do the same thing. Now that's not saying I don't want a relationship. I do....I want to be married, with as many kids as God will allow, and be a teacher. But I'm not rushing it either. You do you, and the rest will follow.

I had never been in a relationship before I met my now husband at 30 (I'm turning 34 in a few months). We're now married and expecting. It's worth it to wait for the right person. I was anxious about still being a virgin, but he was so supportive, considerate, and didn't care. Don't feel forced to do something you're not ready for.

nope I'm 24 and a virgin I never had a relationship before either and I'm in one now since May and my boyfriend is 29 and is ok with it but we've been doing anal. I'm ready but I know it's gonna be painful and I'm not good with pain but it was painful the first time we did anal but it for better after. Maybe I'm just a big whimp lol
