A year already?! Time for cows milk?

What milks will you be giving your soon to be one year old?!

Why is cow's milk being pushed so hard after a baby turns one? I'm not trying to be a hardcore advocate for breast milk, but I honestly don't understand the reasoning besides wanting to stop breastfeeding or introducing dairy to a baby.

I plan to keep giving my son the milk I have stored in the freezer until that runs out. Then probably just whole cows milk, or my coconut almond milk if he prefers it.

Once he turns one we'll use up the formula till it's gone then it will be cold turkey gone after that. Water or tea at night, milk and juice in the morning. I need to google what kind of milk tho skim, whole, 2% etc
