So I just got the blood work back that the pregnancy test is positive! I am probably 4 to 5 weeks along right now. However I just called to make my first prenatal appointment and they cannot get me in until the middle of October so I'll be probably about 12 weeks by then. I know you should normally go for 8 to 10 weeks for your first prenatal appointment. Am I safe and OK waiting until I'm about 12 weeks along?

That was the soonest they could get me in in any of my medical groups offices.
