First doctors appointment?

I am 4 weeks right now and they schedule my first appointment waaaaaay out like end of April beginning of May.. Do you guys think this is fine? Il be 8 weeks by the time I get to a doctor!

Unless you are high risk, most offices will see you at 8-10 weeks for your first workup. Mine was at almost 10 weeks.

You're only seen earlier I you're high risk. So if you're not, this is completely normal. All the appointments are 4 weeks away its normal.

They usually won't see you before 8 weeks because the baby's heartbeat doesn't show up until then and they don't want new mommies to be concerned :)

I didn't have my first appointment until 11w2d. Unless you've had a miscarriage or any high risk markers, it's normal here to not be seen until 10-12 weeks. I was grateful I had to wait though, bc on the dating ultrasound the baby was looking already human. Had I gone too early, it wouldn't have been as visible.

My first appointment is tomorrow. I'll be 10w 4 days. I have had blood work etc before now, but no dr visit and no sonogram.

That's perfect actually there nothing to really see until about 8 weeks anyway. I didn't have my first appt. until then. And congrats on your pregnancy.

I had my first appointment yesterday I am 8w 3d just get prenatals and don't worry it worth the wait to see your baby 😊 have a healthy 9 months!!
