So I know I'm probably one of the last Dec. mommas out there to put baby in their own room, but tonight's the night. He's 8 months and a week we've been talking about it since 7 months and this morning when he knocked the humidifier off the nightstand on himself and all over we decided we better just rip the band aid off and try. I'm currently putting him down-same routine and so far so good, but of course I can't help but be a bit sad. He's not far, we've got a monitor, he sleeps in here during the day, and I even left him for a girls trip for a few days for the first time last week, but he's my first baby and he won't be in the same room anymore. Just venting and any words of encouragement would be great. Thanks fellow Dec. mommas!
