Me and my husband are TTC. I had a mirena in for seven years, I took it out at the end of June. I started my period right on time at the beginning of July. I was on it for seven days, off for two and had it again for four days. My period is very regular and I figured the four days had something to do with the Mirena and hormones. I knew that after having the Mirena removed they would go back to the way they were before I had it. Very heavy and cloths and lots of cramping. I was right and it was hell. Now I have yet to have a period. I took a test last weekend and it was negative... just wondering if I should take another or expect for my period to be off because of the mirena...
