What happens now?

I missed 3 pills since i had lost them. I just found them in my purse.. Today i actually got my period, which i was suppose to get it next monday, since i'd start taking the sugar pills next monday. But i got it today. By taking a normal pill wouldnt it cut off my period? So should i take my pills since SO and i had sex both wed and fri of last week and he came inside? Or should i just let my period finish and then continue taking the pills?
