so my friend texted me this morning that she had just had her baby girl! after 12 hours, the baby went into distress and she ended up having a c-section. both are healthy. her daughter had the cord wrapped multiple times around her body and neck. I'm so happy that she even took the time to fill me in and send pictures and there's no way I'm going to bother her but I'm still kind of in shock that she went through this. my birth went smoothly so I'm not very familiar. I was wondering if someone could maybe tell me what it's like to actually have an emergency C-section? so I can kind of have a general idea of what she might have gone through until we can sit down and she can tell me her story .
