Do you think some hospitals are unfair?

Ived been waiting in the emergency room for more then 1 hr. I'm pregnant i fell accidentally. I'm still waiting for them to call. I'm worried about my baby if he/she is doing okay or what. Idk if maybe its just my nerves or thoughts of me worring about my baby like just time consuming I guess.
Should all patients be seen first depending on theyre pain or what they came in for? Or should it be who comes in first and so on. 
Idk like I said I thought they would see me faster since it's dealing with a baby who nobody knows if its okay or not. 
I'm just a worried mom thats all 😭

I don't think any hospitals are on a first come first serve basis. If the patients are already back there they aren't going to send them out to make more room, but there could be way more serious things going on, like car accidents, overdoses, suicides, etc. Be patient, they're doing the best they can.

They triage all their patients, so the most critical cases are seen first. I'm surprised they didn't send you up to labor and delivery.

I guess it depends on if you are now spotting and cramping after the fall, or if you are just worried. If it's a precautionary trip, there will most likely be people in the ER needing immediate care. I know it doesn't seem fair but I think that's pretty standard everywhere.

if you are early on in your pregnancy, you will be low priority because the baby is so small and so well protected.   even minor car crashes tend to not have any effect on early pregnancies.

When my daughter was about 8 months old she projectile vomited out of her swing and all over the floor. She couldn't hold anything in, not pedialyte not even water. Called her doc the next day she said to go into the hospital the next day if it didn't stop. The 3rd day she still couldn't hold anything in so we took her in and there were a million damn people in there. You'd think an infant throwing up and hasn't eaten in days cuz she couldn't hold it in would take priority but no we waited over 2 hours to have her seen even when she threw up in the triage while taking her weight etc. they said because of her condition she'd be in a room for a while (she ended up getting an iv bag) so they took the easy patients first to get them in and out so she'd have a room for while. If i were you I would've just called my doc to do a quick ultrasound or check heartbeat or something. But if you're still feeling baby move it'll be fine.
