I don't see why anyone would have their children around someone who is disrespectful to them. 
It makes no sense.

They can dislike me all they want but if they want to see my child and they are good to my child then I won't not let them see their family.

Nope because I wouldn't allow my child to think that, that kind of behavior is good or acceptable.

If you can't respect me and my decisions as a parent, you will not be around my child. I don't care if you're my closest family member, the president (not that I would allow him anywhere near my son), or the frickin pope. At the age of 18, my child can make their own decisions.

In the real world my child will have to deal with people who don't like him, and are disrespectful. Who better to teach him how to navigate those sometimes necessary relationships than his own mother? You can't control other people's actions, only your reactions. So let them act a fool and then let your child see you handle it like a boss.
