quick question!

so, me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time today! I started taking birth control pills eleven days ago (my combo pill vestura takes seven days to become effective) and he used a condom and pulled out a couple minutes before he came. he also came inside the condom, but not in me. The condom also, of course, did not break rip or tear, My boyfriend was wondering if my birth control somehow wasn't in effect yet (even tho that I'd most likely not the case) that we would be okay and that we were being safe regardless? like no major risks since we had a condom and he pulled out? He wanted me to ask you guys! (yes we're educated in sex Ed, just paranoid!)
