High school sweethearts?

I'm just curious on any advice you guys have for someone in that situation. Me and my boyfriend have been together for over a year. Well now we are hitting some rocky times! It's so hard right now. We get mad and angry over the littlest things but we still love one another it's just been hard. And tips or advice you can offer?

Talk, talk, talk. What caused it, when did it start, what is making you both so unhappy with the other? What compromises and agreements can you come to? What feelings do you need to get off of both your chests? The more you talk, the better you will feel and the better you will be able to sort things out. Talk until your ears cave in and you both fully understand everything, and then talk some more. Communication is key.

Normally getting mad over little things is really not the issue, but is stemmed from a bigger issue that has not been brought up.
Try to be honest and have an very non confrontation type of discussion on what's bothering both of you. It may not even be about the relationship, but something to do with one of y'alls family/school/jobs.

Opening up about any issues even if they seem stupid, if something small upsets you don't wait to blow up, talk about it calmly, don't let other people or things distract you from a good relationship, at the same time maintaining outside friendships is important. My husband and I are 5 1/2 years, married 1 year :) second baby on the way. We still have a lot to learn and a long way to go but these are just things we've learned along the way

My hubby and I were high school sweethearts to we have Ben together for 10 yrs now my advice would be take it slow make sure u talk everything threw maybe take a vacation just some couple time or alone time no distractions
