This isn't for everyone, but this was my experience. I was very afraid because I had never inserted anything to my vagina before, not even tampons! So when I decided and felt I was ready to lose my virginity I talked to my bf about it and when it was time to actually do it I was shaking scared. We had to try to get it all the way in three times because I was very tight. However he was very slow and caring, and we made sure the condom was on correctly and everything. We were in regular missionary position and he was leaned over me and holding my hands asking me if I was okay with every inch. My eyes teared up a little bit and it did hurt and I bled a little bit but once it happened and was over I was very sore, but I felt glowy and happy and bubbly. And insanely in love with my man :) now for the orgasm. Not all women orgasm from penetration alone, so try rubbing your clitoris or have him perform the action. Do whatever feels good, and keep doing it until you orgasm. But if you can orgasm from penetration than just *again* do what feels good and proceed until orgasm! :)

It depends on your pain tolerance I mean when your hymen breaks it isn't going to be pleasant but it might be just a discomfort feeling.

I think you need to to get a book that you find appropriate and read about your body.  I like Our Bodies Ourselves but that might be a little too much info because it's basically an operating manual for every function sexual and otherwise for the female body but it's very feminist and medical but very thorough.

Sex feels like sex.  It is different for everyone because our lady parts are all different from each other like our noses or feet.  It's different with each partner for the same reason.  We all have variations on the basic human theme.  The first time is usually not too fun because of the hymen either being stretched or broken so don't let your first time be a test of how the other times will be.  Go slow and make sure to communicate with your partner if it is painful or if you want to stop and try again later.
