Sickle cell ?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and my bd carry the sickle cell trait nd so do my uncle I'm getting tested at my next appointment. Have any moms in this chat lil one been tested positive for sickle cell ? Should I be worried ?

My best friend baby boy just tested positive for the trait and his brother actually has sickle cell. My mom had it and it can mean a lot of different things. I'd suggest reading about it, but it doesn't effect everyone the same.

I have the trait and so do my daughter’s father. My daughter has the disease SC. I’m trying for baby #2 but concerned the next baby will have it or worst 😞
