Friend Advice update

So I talked to my friend and my suspicions were correct (they aren't dating just messing around, but feelings are definitely getting crossed) She tried to play it off like she didn't tell me because it would be weird since I see the guy as a brother, and now I am trying to deal with the fact that I had to ask her for her about it for her to tell me what was going on.
