Possible positive ovulation test?

Hi everyone! In May I became pregnant with our first child and unfortunately on July 19 I learned that I had a Missed Miscarriage. I was 10+1 but my baby hadn't grown past 8+1. My body passed the MC on its own with the help of misoprostol to speed up the process. My husband and I were devastated to stay the least. My Dr advised waiting one cycle and then said it was safe to try again. My periods are usually pretty regular and it's been a month since my MC but still no period. I've had some spotting here and there but not a full blown period. I had purchased ovulation test strips for when we did start trying again and today I took one just to see and it appears positive but I'm unsure? Is this normal to ovulate 31 days post miscarriage with no period?
