Cold coming on!

I'm about 4 weeks and I have a horrible head cold that just sprung on me last night. Pre-pregnancy I drank emergenc almost everyday and I never got sick, at least bad anyways! On the label it states to consult with doctor before taking... My appointment isn't until the 27th. Not sure if I should drink it or what my other options are for meds at this point. Being sick is no fun when I'm already exhausted the way it is! any input would be great!
