Learning about child development has helped not necessarily reading about parenting techniques. I'm glad I know how babies and children develop because now I know what to expect in general but the specifics vary child to child.

It helped in terms of baby development and tracking/reaching milestones within typical timeframe, so you can get to a problem early if needed! because if you post a question everyone will say it's normal...all babies are different... people tend to be supportive

Every child is different ! What works for some won't for others! Just do what best for you! Survival is key!!!
