OPK vs. pregnancy test ?

Hi Glo, I read somewhere that an opk can tell you if you are prego faster than a pregnancy test can give you a BFP. I took an opk 8 dpo and it was dark. Am I ovulating late? I had two follicles for the first time and TTC for 10 mo+ so this  feels like an important month. Thanks!!!

Some have reported a positive opk right before a bfp. Others have reported a negative opk and gone on to get a bfp. And visa versa The problem is some people will get a rise again right before their cycle. I myself, have gotten a positive opk and not been pregnant and a negative opk and been pregnant.

The test line is darker than the control line but pregnancy test says bfn.
