Romantic?

My SO is far from the romantic type except in rare occasions like Valentine's Day or our anniversary. He'll buy me flowers or something but as far as day to day he never sends me cute messages or say I love you. I'm really annoyed I want to marry him but I don't want a boring proposal.. I want a proposal that's really romantic and over the top.

My husband is similar but I love him so much and wouldn't want to be with anyone else. Just keep reminding him that you need more than he's giving sometimes they think they're doing enough to show their love. My husband had a great proposal planned but his ADD got the best of him (wish he could have done it the way he planned but it was still special and the thought of him actually planning something more special was enough for me)

Communication is key. It might not be important to him but if he knows you would absolutely love for him to do something romantic for you, he probably would. Sometimes guys just need us girls to put things bluntly for them.
