2 weeks late, and a BFN test

I am 2 weeks late, and I took a test yesterday with a negative result. Normally, I'm within 2-4 days of my expected start date, so this is unusual. I did feel what seemed like an ovulation on my left side on the 21st of March, 6 days before my expected start date, but I would think I would test positive by now. I've thought about calling for a blood test, but not sure where I could go for that. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated!
