Pack and play?

Question

Has anyone forwent the pack and play and got by without it? I don't know how much more stuff I can possibly fit into this house or where I would put it. The only traveling we would be doing would be to my moms and she will have an extra one at her house.

I used the pack and play from day one. to me it was a necessity. but if u have a crib, I guess the crib can be used as a pack and play. I only needed both because I wanted to separate crib from day activities. so baby knows crib is for naps and sleep only. pack and play is for when she's up. I never used the upper part of pack and play. only the bottom.  so if I needed to run to the bathroom really quick or do a load if laudry or open the front door, etc, I put baby in the pack and play, and did my thing really quick. but if u have jo space,  u can do away with just a crib..

With my first we could have gotten by with out it until we started vacationing but the it was a life saver. With our second though he used it from day 1. Get one from a second hand store. You can usually find them for like $20-$30.

Didn't use it at all. Made it into a ball pit when she was 6 months.

I only had one son my son could sleep in our room. It's not needed.
