Period symptoms- positive test

Hello ladies!

Today (Monday, August 21) my period was due but I took a test first thing in the am and it was positive. However, I did have cramping on Saturday and Sunday (only in the am and then none again throughout the day) like I normally do a few days before I usually get my period and this morning after I wiped I had some red spotting. My son is 3 months old and prior to him I had 2 miscarriages so naturally I'm a little worried. But ther a few factors:

1. My son. Is it possible that since I just gave birth a few months ago that my body would still exhibit period symptoms while being pregnant. Side note: 3rd period since having him and I have had a negative pregnancy test since having him.

2. I've heard it's common to have spotting and cramping around time of period.

3. My husband and I did have sex last night so the blood could very well be from that.

I know this is long but any thoughts will help my worrying mind!!
