Ovulation kit help

So with trying for a baby and being so irregular due to having the contraceptive implant in for nearly 3 years and only having it out 3 months. I'm abit worried about it taking it's time to conceive. I've brought the ovulation kit (wee on a stick if two lines appear same colour etc) but the positve line does that have to be the same colour or darker then the test line and when I get a positive does that mean I will ovulate that day or in a few days??? Would I get busy the day I get a positive or what??
