Pap spears

I'm fairly new to this "adulting" thing and have moved out of the nest. I'm trying to take responsibility of my own healthcare without the help of my parents.. could someone give me advice on how to schedule a Pap smear? I have my insurance all set up, but I don't exactly know who to go to.

Do I strictly look for an OB/GYN? Or do I find a regular primary care physician?

How exactly do I go about scheduling the appointment? I'm a pretty awkward person, so do I just call and say "I'd like to schedule a Pap smear?"
