My baby daddy is freaking out & saying he's gonna say something in court that my boyfriend cut the umbilical cord.. & not him {the father} but he WASNT even at the hostpital

No law.  Doctor cut mine even though my husband wanted to (I went into destress so things kind of had to be done differently than expected).

I cut my own cord ! No laws anyone can cut it but sometimes they don't even give you a choice the doctor just cuts it .

They will laugh him out of court. My hubby didn't get the chance to cut it and he was at the birth. There's no rule or law on who cuts it
