2nd membrane sweep

Hi everybody I had a membrane sweep done at 39 weeks and 2days but didn't start labor just been losing plug and some pressure I was only 1cm dilated at that time it was Friday. I just had another membrane sweep today at 39 weeks and 5 days but dilated to 2cm this time now still some plug coming out and pressure. Is there a possibility the second membrane sweep will be more effective? Any stories that are similar to mine ?
