UPDATE: Went in for my 39 week appointment and the Dr is sending me to labor and delivery!!

I had high blood pressure for the first time and my feet are very swollen and also have had a 24 hr headache. He sending me to labor and delivery because of these symptoms but the problem is my cervix is still closed, how will they open it? And how long would it take to have my baby? This is my first baby. I'm so nervous!!

UPDATE:

My blood pressures were going normal in triage but DR doesn't want to risk anything happening by sending us home so they put cervidil in me (which wasn't bad at all in my opinion) and in the morning they will start me with pitocin. I'm so ready to meet my baby girl! ❤️❤️😭should be tomorrow around night.
