Kids drinking soda?

Would you allow your child to drink soda?? My mother lets her adopted grandson drink soda, just as she did for me when I was a kid, and I personally find that to be incredibly wrong and unhealthy. 
At what age would you allow your kid to drink soda? If ever?

We love soda. But I dont give it to my son like that. sip here and there every once in a while. but not regularly. What others choose to do isnt any of my business. give ur kid straight coke in his baby bottle for all I care.

I'm debating on that one in my head myself. When I was little we could have a soda ever so often but it was always a treat when we got it. I would always be jealous cause my parents would drink it in front of us all the time but when I did get one it'd be so good. Now I drink it all the time and there's nothing special about it.

Depends on the age and the situation and the child. I think everybody is different and what I do might not fit what others do and visa versa. Not my place to judgement or try to put my opinions on others.

My siblings and I were only allowed one soda a day. Anything else had to be something that didn't fizz or have carbonation.

probably in moderation. diet and regular sodas are both bad for you. child obesity is becoming more common. maybe 2 or 3 sodas a week at most. I wouldn't buy them every week though not like with normal groceries. once they are 18 or have their own job they can decide what they eat consistently. I wouldn't say that is never get some things they want but obviously kids will most likely.want the junk.

My coworker has a 3 and a 5 year old who have never had soda, at all. Not even for a birthday party or a treat. I was floored when she told me it's a thing now, and that if we let our son drink soda we'd be in the minority.

Sometimes, kiddos are 8 and 11 and they drink a soda every now and then as a treat, maybe once a week if even that.

I would. I would never had soda in my house. But parties and holidays (maybe restaurants) I would let them drink as much as they like as Long as they sip on some water. If there was leftover in my house, they could drink those too.
