when did you start stockpiling things for baby

im expecting #5 but am only 5 weeks.... i wanna start soonish so i have a lot before babys due.... but when would you recommend starting? around 12 weeks? later?  sooner?

I have an ultrasound in two weeks, I will be 8 weeks by then. As long as everything looks good, I will probably start looking for diapers and wipes on sale! I think you can never have too many of those! I'm a FTM by the way

Till I know the gender, I made that mistake with my first and I was bummed when some of her stuff was gender neutral and not super pink , it just made me like damn I wish I waited. If you talking about diapers then go ahead do that as long as you have room. Wipes I think you need to wait cause they're wet and bacteria and infection.

After an early loss back in March, I've had pretty strong anxiety during my current pregnancy.   I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and then heard my baby's heartbeat at 11 weeks.   After that OB appointment, I went to Target and bought a box of diapers as a kind of therapy because I was still so anxious that this pregnancy would end too.  I've been picking up diapers and wipes when they're on sale since then.

I waited until after my anatomy scan at 21 weeks to really start buying things. 
I didn't want to buy much early on in fear of losing the baby

I too waited until about 20 weeks. I'm now 31 and have pretty much everything we "need".

Iv always waited until 20weeks, this time around I was 24 and there was a baby event on so I now have all nappies, baby wipes and bottles the hard thing is trying not to buy too much 🙈 I'm going to buy cot, pushchair and Moses basket next then wait until I'm nearly due to buy all my baby powder and last bits of clothes I am well stocked up from the last 2 babies with clothes so it's one less thing to worry about x
