Will it cost anything if I go to urgent care??

Question

I have a uti that has been going on for about 2 weeks I thought I could get rid of it but now I have been having hot flashes which I guess can mean it's in my kidneys so tomorrow I'm going to urgent care but does it cost anything? And what do I need to bring like my medical card? ID?

I don't have my medical card with me my mom has it she's at work and has no idea about this.  When I went for my depo shot Friday my nurse gave me a number to call with any questions so I did and she told me to go to my primary care.  The thing it I don't have there number I don't want to tell my mom about this and I really do know what else to do. Does cvs or Walgreens sell antibacterial pills or something??

It depends where you live. I live in a small town on long island and its $125 to be seen, it even varies by town/ clinic. I went to one in the Dominican republic with my daughter and it was like $25 American to be seen. I went to one in Canada with my daughter and it was like $80 American. I tried going to one when I had kidney pain with. uti and they sent  me right to the hospital. I know hospitals here have charity care so if you don't have insurance and really can't afford the bills you don't have to pay.

you need to go in asap hun! if u have medical card take that and ur ID

I'm not sure how it works where you live, but in Portugal we pay ER (almost 20 euros) and we need to have all of our medical ID and documents with us. And if possible, previous exams 🙂
