Anyone had a surgical abortion under sedation?

Question

I've been told I'll be sedated which I've never had so I'm scared of what that'll be like. 
I'm scared I'll feel it and it'll hurt and I don't know what to expect.

If you're sedated, you won't be aware of what's going on. Afterwards you'll have cramping. I laid at home on the couch with a heating pad for most of the day after mine. I felt normal after a day or two.

yes, you won't feel a thing. You're unconscious for the procedure.

You'll wake up and be crampy, and probably nauseated. I threw up, but that was mostly due to having a completely empty stomach for so long with the IV. You will need to take it easy. And you will bleed a lot afterwards but that's normal. As far as the actual surgery. You won't remember anything from the time you fall asleep to the time you wake up.
