Clomid ?

Hello ladies! I've been trying to conceive since January, as soon as I stopped the pill had 38-44 days cycles and recently got my period after 78 days. Doctors say I need to take clomid on my next cycle as I have polycystic ovaries and ovulate very late. Has anyone tried this and gotten pregnant? Is it the only solution? Should I wait more to get pregnant naturally ? Is it dangerous? Thanks for your help !
