How is your man?

This is mostly for those in long-term relationships/married. From now, compared to when you first got together with your man how are things different? Tell me your best and worst moments. Was he everything you wanted in a man? For example, his looks, compatibility, religion, his job, personality. And if he wasn't, did you stay, and why?

The big points are the same. He feels the same about religion, has the same future views, wants the same amount of kids after were ready, still values love respect and hard work. It's been 7 years. We had our ups and downs a few times. I got super busy with work and college and friends and he wasn't working which lead to a depression but we worked through it. He's still just as annoying but he's my annoying so I love it. He still does random sweet thing like random day trips or movie dates or small things like reaching over and rubbing my arm in the car or grabbing my ass and he still worried about the same things like me running up the stairs because I'm clumbsy or over stressing about not feeling good or worried about being a good husband and father. He's everything today that he was when we meet.

Considering I was 19 when we met and he was 22 we both grew up a lot since then

being in a relationship is about changing and growing together. It's compromise, trust, and hard work. My wife and I have both changed over the course of the last almost 9 years.

He's everything I want in a man and we aren't compatible on all those things. I'd say I met him when he was ready to grow up. It's been a transition lol. I've changed to... I think we both have changed in good ways  though. We've absolutely grown together, not apart.

We were 17 & 18 when we met. We're 20 & 21 now. I think we've grown a lot both as people & as a couple. Through these last 3 years we've experienced a lot in our personal lives. He's my rock, & I wouldn't have been able to stay sane without him. Tough times either make or break a relationship & what we have gone through together has absolutely brought us closer
