Am I being crazy? Read believe
I don't think I have PCOS because my body is telling me so. Growing up my period was normal and I knew exactly when I was ovulating, I had 2 periods in October 2016 and that's when I got on birth control and got off of it in 12 days. I didn't get my period back till March and April then nothing May then light spotting in morning June, July, and August. It seemed as if my metabolism stopped all together and I gained 70 pounds. Finally went to Gyno and they tested my blood hormone and testosterone and everything else came back normal except thyroid. Before I got on meds I got an Ultrasound and was told couple days late I have a 50/50 of PCOS cause I have 10+ follies on my ovaries. Talked to the front desk and she told me it looks like I have PCOS and the doctor will discuss surgery and meds with me. My mom agrees with me, because I don't have off testosterone levels, no excess hair, no pains, and my periods were normal growing up. I just started thyroid meds and I believe maybe that's affecting me. Going to see an endocrinologist for extra views. Am I being crazy thinking I don't have it??
