Am I too young for a gastric bypass or other weight loss surgeries?

I'm 22 years old and a recent mom. I've always struggled with confidence because I was curvy from puberty and up. But I didn't gain a lot of weight until recently. I have hypothyroidism and PCOS and gained a lot of weight when I was 18-19 years old. I went from a size 13 to a size 16. And now I'm a size 18.

I weigh 230 lbs & I'm 5'4

So that makes my BMI 39.5...

Online it says BMI of 40 is a prerequisite and that is severely obese.

I don't feel severely obese but I just don't want to be plus size anymore. 😔

I was 230 before and lost weight by running and dieting and got down to 190 but plateaued.

This is me after having my baby. What do you think? Should I just try to lose weight naturally again? (My $300 running shoes don't fit anymore!!)
